Plot: This is a children’s book and is first in the series- The Faraway tree. The story revolves around three kids who one day go into the woods and come across a huge tree. From ground it seemed that the tree was almost touching the sky. This was not an ordinary tree, but a magical one, as it didn’t just had one specific fruit on it, but multiple fruits like pears, acorns, apples and more. This tree was also home to some magical beings like Silky fairy, Moon face and the Saucepan man. This book explains the experience of these three kids on this tree.
What I liked about the book?
I am 34 and I still loved reading this beautiful book, that revolves around three siblings, and a lot of magic. Joe, Beth and Frannie, find out an enchanted tree in the country side, which is not an ordinary tree, but full of magic. The tree is famous for magic and also because the top of the tree is an entrance to the different realms which keep on changing, after some time. Every time the children visit the top they enter different realms. In this journey they also make friends with Moon Face, Silky the fairy, three bears and Goldilocks 🙂
