Plot: A book by J.K. Rowling. Rowling needs no introduction, people of all ages have either read her books or watched movies based on her stories. This is another book by her, a very very thin book with 123 pages (approx), therefore, I highly highly recommend this, to children and people who are working towards inculcating the habit of reading.

The amount of magic that’s mentioned in this book is minimum. Reason why I say minimum is probably because I’ve read many of her other books and in those books- magic was gigantic, so as a human tendency I compared it with her other work.

But if I see this book as a stand alone, I would say that Rowling has done a good job, by introducing four separate stories, that are magical, and teach a very important lesson at the end. I like this book because of its simplicity and the effort that Rowling has put in for introducing us to the 5 stories, which are:

a). The Wizzard and the hopping pot
b). The fountain of Fair Fortune
c). The Warlock’s Hairy Heart
d). Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump
e). The tail of the three brothers

What I liked about the book?

I liked how there was so much to learn from each stories mentioned in this book. Additionally it was good to read the perspective of Dumbledore on each one of them. For me this was the best part because of the humor that he added in the conversation. This is definitely one of the books that I would read out to my children because it just not introduces them to the magic, but also tells them to be a good person.

Who should read this?

I would highly recommend this book to everybody. The best audience for this book is kids younger than 10 years.

What did I learn from this book?

Wisdom is our best friend.
